Since its inception in 2009, eXp Realty has broken new ground with its cloud-based real estate brokerage. It was a difficult decision to surrender my stability and step into the crazy world of real estate – but I did it. I reminded myself that if I could take the risk back then and completely change my career path, I could certainly take a chance with eXp Realty.
After you sell your first home with eXp Realty, you will receive stock in our publicly traded company ( EXPI ). There are also other options to acquire stock because we believe that it is so important to have everyone invested in the success of the company.

Unlike many other well-known large Realty companies, eXp Realty provides its agents with one experience, one login, and the ability to #theuncommonrealtorsteam work together to sell their clients homes and service their client’s real estate needs – as one effective and efficient organization.
Real estate is a self-driven self motivating business and like any and all business careers, an exit strategy or retirement plan should be in order but in many or should I say most cases, agents and brokers don’t have a realistic and practical plan or strategy.

It says it has established market share across north America with over 19,000 agents. When you start at eXp Realty you pay a $99 fee for business cards and folders, which includes your first month’s $50 Tech Fee. Once you’ve designed your avatar, with numerous options for hair colour, clothing and accessories, you can also receive tech, brokerage and accounting support within the virtual world, as well as chat to agents you bump into along the way.
We have become a leading brokerage of choice for agents due to eXp Realty’s unique value proposition. Revenue share is taken off the top, with agents getting paid first. Little bit of a learning curve for the technology but there is a ton of support for new agents.

Together, we’re leveraging Systems and Tools in order to grow an agent and broker-owned international, publicly-traded company. Instead, at eXp Realty new employees set up their avatar and head to the Human Resources building in the virtual campus, where they are greeted with colorful balloons and attend a company orientation in the cloud.

The passive income and revenue adds up over time and creates a great exit strategy and opportunity for a realistic and practical retirement plan. If the agent does another 20 deals at a $250 transaction fee equaling $5,000 they are now eligible to receive their ICON status and stock award.
