Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Pharmacy Technician program is fully accredited by the Canadian Council of Accreditation of Pharmacy program. This qualifies you to write the national Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada qualifying exam. With a PEBC Pharmacy Technician Certificate of Qualification, you can seek licensure in provinces that regulate pharmacy technicians. You will practice institutionally specific tasks employed in the field of pharmacy. You will apply the knowledge gained from pharmacy practice and hospital practice lectures. This course builds on introductory dispensing techniques. You will explore the practice of pharmacy as it specifically applies to the hospital setting.
